BUTTERFLY

The idea of outside edges being completely straight and symmetrical has never been particularly appealing and the shape of a spider’s web was ideal to demonstrate this. Butterfly wings can, of course, be stunning, highly colourful and supremely intricate in design and lend themselves very well to the translucency of glass. This pattern and colour intricacy is intensified by the clear textured background afforded by the gaps between the webs.

THE FOUR SEASONS

This design came about by 4 hand spun roundels having been cut down to remove the central nub for a particular job. It seemed a shame to throw away the remaining glass and so they were reassembled into this arrangement, using appropriate coloured borders etc. to convey the colours of the seasons.

COMPANY LOGO

It would have been remiss of us not to have made our company logo into a panel. The ‘AURA’, being a form of rainbow, could never have escaped such treatment.
